Show Information

The camp will comprise an hour’s instruction in each discipline i.e. cross country, show jumping and flatwork.

To make the sessions beneficial and fun for all, please advise what level you are working at and your experience, along with any thing you want to work on in particular. We will then organise groups to make best use of the great facilities and our fabulous instructors.

When completing your booking on My Riding Life, please answer the following in the
Comments section:
1. Flatwork – level/experience
2. Show jumping – level/experience
3. Cross country – level/experience

We are aware that some members have not previously undertaken cross country with their horse. Munstead is a great place to learn and there are a couple of logs on the ground, a number of inviting fences on the new 60cm course, a very small side to the steps and an easy to enter small water. However, if you think this is not for you please add:
1. I would prefer not to do cross country and we will endeavour to add a further flatwork session Please note that body protectors must be worn on the cross country course

Further details regarding arrangements for lunch will be provided in due course noting we plan that everyone will be asked to bring a dish for sharing on the day.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis and are only secured on receipt of your postal payment and booking form or online booking.
You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to West Surrey Riding Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Cost: £50 per person, plus £30 per horse payable directly to Munstead on the day

Withdrawals/Refunds

Payment is required at time of booking. We regret we cannot issue refunds unless a doctor’s or vet’s certificate/letter is provided. If you are unable to attend your booked instruction, you are free to find a replacement (as long as it’s a WSRC member and at an appropriate level for the instruction!) and organise reimbursement between yourselves. We recommend using the WSRC Facebook page for this.

Terms & Conditions

Please refer to the West Surrey Riding Club website for full Terms & Conditions of entry.
All riders must wear hats to the current standard as per the current BRC rule book. Body protectors are strongly recommended for jumping instruction. Please inform the instructor or West Surrey RC if you have any pre-existing medical conditions. All riders are advised to have their own insurance.
