Show Information

Entries close at 1pm on Thursday before each event. No late / text entries will be accepted.

The arena eventing will consist of a show jumping course and then straight onto a simulated cross country course within the outdoor arena at Kennaa, using the “Jump 4 Joy” arena eventing fences, with the final fence being a show jump set 10cm higher than the course. An alternative final "joker" fence at class height will be set which takes a longer route. The whole course will be timed, with optimum times set (70cm and below -  350mpm, 85/95cm - 360mpm and 105/110cm - 375mpm). Penalties will be awarded at 0.4 penalties for every second in excess of the optimum time. Time limit is twice the optimum time. Stop watches are not permitted.

Dress Code: You have to wear a correctly fitting body protector and emergency arm band. Hats must be fitted with a chin strap and have NO fixed peak for example a skull cap with silk is acceptable. Cross country colours are optional. You will not be able to compete unless these rules are adhered to.

Results:
Placings will be decided on time and penalties. All presentations are mounted!! Rosettes to third place.
Please remember that for safety arena eventing is about jumping clear in a forward rhythm and not galloping flat out!!!

Payment Details & Event Fees

Please note that to compete at a Kennaa Riding Club event you need to be a paid up member of the Club.
Please note NO text entries will be accepted and entries will not be carried over to future events.

A: You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Kennaa Riding Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
B: Complete an Entry Form and send it together with your cheque made payable to "Kennaa Riding Club " to: Event Secretary, Mrs G Hadfield, Sunninglye, Main Road, Glen Vine, IM4 4AZ – NB – One cheque per event entered.

You can only enter two classes per horse/pony.
Entry Fee £12.00 per class
A start fee of £5 per person will be required on the day for medical cover.
