CLASSES 12 & 13 are qualifiers for the Chaps (UK) Winter Restricted Championships to be held at the B.S.P.S.Winter Championships and will comprise of;
Non Native Type Horses ex.15.0hh.
Non Native Type Pony 15.0hh and under.
Native /Traditional/Cob Type Pony 14.2hh and under.
Native/Traditional/Cob Type Horse exc. 14.2hh
Both the owner and rider of each exhibit need NOT be fully paid up members of C.H.A.P.S. at the time of the competition, nor need the animals be resigtered,BUT to validate the qualification both membership and registration must be in place before entering the relevant championship class. Exhibits not to have qualified for H.O.Y.S.in that current or previous year in which the finals will be held (eg.for 2013 finals the exhibit must not have qualified for H.Y.O.S in either 2011 or 2012).
Judges will not ride any exhibits in the qualifiers, but will ride the Horses in the final
1. Arena UK and the Riding Club Committee shall not be responsible
for any loss, damage, injury or death to any persons, property or
animals at any time whilst on the show ground whether
competing or not.
2. Arena UK and the Riding Club Committee reserve the right to
refuse entry to any person at their discretion without explanation.
3. Arena UK and the Riding Club Committee reserve the right to
cancel, alter, amend, split or amalgamate any class, or substitute
any judge at any time.
4. The judge’s decision is final.
5. Hard hats to the current BSI standard must be worn by all riders
when mounted, and by all competitors under the age of fourteen
when showing in-hand.
6. Any person behaving inappropriately or using bad language to
anyone on the show ground will be disqualified and asked to leave
the show ground.
7. Any person found abusing any horse or pony will be disqualified
and asked to leave the show ground.
8. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
9. Correct and appropriate riding attire must be worn at all times
whilst competing.
