RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. Box and trailer parking is in the field opposite Snowball Farm.
2. Correctly fitting hard hat manufactured to one of the minimum current standards, such as PAS015:2011; with BSI Kite mark, with a three-point linkage properly adjusted and fastened must be worn by all riders, whether competing or not, at all times whilst mounted at Snowball Farm.
3. No stallions and no horses under 5 years of age.
4. Warm-Up Areas: no-one on foot allowed in warm-up areas. No lungeing/leading in all-weather warm-up arena. Competitors must leave the warm-up areas immediately if asked to do so by a steward/official. Additional warm up to the rear of Trailer/Lorry park.
5. The organisers will not be held responsible for any accident, loss or injury to any person or their property however this may be caused.
6. The judges’ and organisers’ decision is final. Any objection must be made in writing with a £15 deposit, which is returned if the objection is upheld.
7. The organisers reserve the right to alter the schedule at any time, to amalgamate or cancel classes with insufficient entries.
8. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any class for whatever reason they deem necessary.
9. Neither Snowball Farm Equestrian Centre, nor any of their representatives or Staff shall in any way be liable for any accident, injury, damage or loss whatsoever caused to anyone. Whether competing, servant, spectator, horse or horse vehicle or property, however caused in connection with or arising out of the show.
10. Health & Safety – Reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure the Health & Safety of persons present. For these measures to be effective all Competitors and/or Spectators must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all the Officials.
11. Dogs must be kept on non-extendable leads and under control at all times.
12. Please keep horses well away from the riding school.
13. Spectators are welcome but please keep children under close supervision and park in the horse box/trailer park and not in the farm car park.
ENTRIES
1. Online preferred and Postal entries. Entries may be posted and must be signed, enclosing a cheque payable to Snowball Farm. Telephone & E-mail entries will not be accepted. Incomplete entries will not be counted.
2. Entries close 5pm on Friday 30 March, after which entries may be taken on the day, if space/time is available.
3. On the day entries: please make your entries at the Snowball Bus.
4. We cannot guarantee a place in the competition before the close of entry, but there will be a waiting list. Entries will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis. Please indicate in your entry if you do not wish to be placed on the Waiting List.
5. The secretary must be notified of any change of horse or rider at least 20 minutes before the start of the class or the entry will become void. Change of horse and rider is not allowed.
6. Those who withdraw in writing before the closing date will have their entry fee, less an administration fee of £4 per Class refunded. Entry fees in any other circumstances will not be refunded unless a class is cancelled due to insufficient entries. Charges for entering online will be not refunded in any circumstances.
7. Making an entry indicates acceptance of these rules and conditions.
8. This show is open to all. Additional classes may be added.
TIMES
The Easter Show timetable – Tack and Turn Out judging 9.30am – 11.30am. Classes will run in the order indicated in the schedule. Because we are taking entries on the day it is not possible to give class times. As a rough guide, jumping classes will take place in the morning, starting at 10.00am. Gymkhana will take place in the afternoon.
