Qualifier rosettes kindly provided by the Pony Club sponsor Dengie.
Qualification for the Championships will be as per the Dengie Winter League Dressage Rules 2017/18 and is dependent on the number of entries per class
Rosettes to 6th place in classes 1,2,3
Rosettes to 8th place in classes 4,& 5
There will be an unmounted prize giving after each class
1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or
anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The
Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or
his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses,
owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other
personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or
in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health
and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective,
everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must
obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
3. All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must
have their own third party cover. The Garth South Branch of The Pony Club and the
organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance
will not cover you.
4. All persons entering the showground shall be bound by these Rules and Conditions of
Entry.
5. This event will be run under Pony Club Dressage Rules 2018 and Dengie Winter League
Rules 2017/18 throughout the day. Please note NEW rulings on hats, body protectors
and air jackets. Fully comprehensive rules are available on the main Pony Club website.

6. Telephone entries or entries without the appropriate fee will not be accepted
7. In the event of cancellation £4.00 per entry will be retained to cover administration costs.
Please send a SAE if the event is cancelled.
8. The judges’ decision is final in all matters. Video evidence will not be accepted in any
circumstances. The committee reserves the right to cancel, add to or amend any of the
conditions or competitions as they think fit and to refuse entry at their discretion.
9. Objections accompanied by a deposit of £10.00 must be made in writing to the Secretary
within 15minutes of the incident. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is not
sustained.
10.No entry fee will be refunded without a veterinary or doctors certificate
11.No jewellery.
12.No Horse/Pony under the age of 4 may compete
13.Dogs must be kept on leads and under control at all times and are not allowed in the
schools, gallery or cafe
14.No lunging anywhere on site
Please do not muck out Lorries/trailers into the parking area, and do not leave any litter.
Please remove any droppings & hay
