Entries close the Wednesday prior to the competition.
Late Entries may be accepted according to availability; however there will be an additional charge of £5 per horse.
Clear Round (Class 1a 80cm, 2a 90cm, 3a 1.00m, 4a 1.05m, 5a 1.10m)
If you just want to come along and do the jumping phase in any of the classes, you can enter on the day at £15 per round (jumping non competitively)
Format of the Arena Eventing
Competitors are required to complete both dressage and jumping phase to be competitive. Scores from the dressage will be converted into penalties, which will then be carried forward to the show jumping and cross-country phase. The competitor will complete a show jumping course with penalties being added for knockdowns or refusals in the normal way. After the competitor has finished the show jumping they will proceed immediately into the cross-country phase which will be conducted in the same arena. There will be an optimum time with penalties for going to fast as well as for going too slow.
Faults will be awarded across the course as follows:
Refusal or Knock Down of SJ: 4 Faults
3 refusals at SJ: Elimination
Refusal at XC: 20 Faults
Second refusal at XC: 40 Faults
Third refusal at XC: Elimination
Knock Down of XC: No Faults
Horse or Rider Fall: Elimination
Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries in advance. You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Weston Lawns.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
All Competitors must become a minimum of a bronze member of Weston Lawns, please present your membership number when entering.
Membership forms are available on the day from the office.
£27.00 for each class, Dressage only £12 (pre-entry), Jumping only £16 (entry on the day

Rosettes in each class, with prizes as follows;
1st £30 Weston Lawns Tack Shop Voucher (awarded if 5 or more starters)
2nd £20 Weston Lawns Tack Shop Voucher (awarded if 10 or more starters)
3rd £10 Weston Lawns Tack Shop Voucher (awarded if 15 or more starters)
Points:
Points will be awarded 1st – 10th place in each class (1st – 10 points, 2nd – 9 points …..10th – 1 point)
At the end of the series the combination gaining the most points overall will be awarded a WL Tack Shop Voucher as follows: 1st - £100, 2nd - £75, 3rd - £50.
Withdrawals made after times have been issued will be charged for in full.
All Competitors must become a minimum of a bronze member of Weston Lawns. Membership forms are available on the day from the office. Membership runs 1st Jan to 31st December, annually.
• Horses do not need to be plaited, however if you wish to do so out of respect for the judge, please feel free to do so.
• Riders must wear a Show Jacket or Hacking Jacket for the dressage. XC colours may be worn in the SJ and XC phases, body protectors and hard hats to PAS015 or EN1384 are mandatory for this section.
• Prizes will be dependant on number of starters:
5 Starters = 1st Place, 10 Starters = 1st and 2nd Place, 15 Starters = 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place
• Competitors must ensure that they warm up in the correct collecting ring – please note that we may be running other competitions on the same day, in the interests of safety the collecting rings for each event will be separate. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in elimination.
• Entries will not be accepted – under any circumstances – without payment.
• Prize money will not be paid until payment has been received for entry. Prize money will not be paid until payment has been received for entry, and must be collected on the day of competition. Any monies/vouchers not collected, will be forfeited.
• Children must not be left of the premises unattended!
• Horses and Ponies must not be left tied up to the lorry / trailer.
• Stables must be left clean and tidy with banks up. Only stables booked may be used.
• If you are competing at Weston Lawns and have travelled alone, you must notify the Secretary and leave contact details in case of an emergency.
• Weston Lawns reserve the right to close entries early if full. Entries will be taken on a first come first serve basis.
