Riders must bring their own number bibs we will supply the paper numbers.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to MPEC.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Entries £55
First Aid £5 per horse and rider combination to be paid in cash when collecting rider numbers on the day.
Riders must bring their own number bibs we will supply the paper inserts.

Refunds: 50% before closing date, 0% after closing date

Terms & Conditions
Horse riding is a dangerous sport and you participate at MPEC at your own risk and without any reliance on MPEC, its owners, servants or agents for the safety of yourself or your property. Due care has been taken to maintain the facilities in a safe condition, but riders must observe and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Terms and conditions for MPEC’s use of facilities and competitions:

1. The organizers reserve the right to cancel or amend any competitions or classes in any way. 2. Properly fitting riding hats, meeting current British safety standards from time to time in force as set out by the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) must be worn at all times by anyone whether or not a participant or competitor, riding from or anywhere at the Mendip Plains EC site. For cross country riding your hat must not have a fixed peak. 3. Body protectors meeting current British safety standards from time to time in force as set out and approved by BETA are mandatory for Cross Country and whenever else a body protector is required to be worn by MPEC. 4. For affiliated competitions it is the responsibility of the rider to ensure that their riding hat, body protector and any other equipment meets the current safety standards as required for entry. 5. No one is to ride alone on any of the facilities at Mendip Plains. You must be accompanied by another horse and rider and/or someone on the ground. 6. For all competitions, the Judges decision is final. At all times, all competitors and other visitors to MPEC must adhere to all instructions provided by stewards. 7. All persons under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 8. All rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided. Lorries/ trailers are not to be skipped out onto the car park. 9. No horse/pony is to be left unattended unless secured in a lorry or trailer attached to a vehicle. 10. Dogs are welcome on site but must be kept on a lead at all times. Waste is to be picked up. 11. At MPEC no smoking is permitted inside any of the buildings. 12. Rules must be adhered to and any facilities that are damaged or seen to be damaged must be reported to the office and paid for. 13. All accidents must be reported and an accident report completed at the MPEC office. 14. MPEC reserves the right to remove persons from the facilities if they are found to be in breach of the above terms and conditions.
