We are excited to present our very own Eventers Challenge at Wellington Riding The course will utilise our wonderful new facilities and will comprise a course of 8-10 showjumps in the Duke’s Hall followed by a course of 8-10 eventing obstacles set out in our stunning Waterloo Arena. The round will finish with 2 showjumps set slightly higher than the rest of the course. The course is designed by our very own Conan Rowan, Senior Instructor, who recently joined the team here at Wellington. Conan will be using his experience and knowledge gleaned from eventing at 3 day level and showjumping at Grand Prix level to set a challenging and fun track, perfect to put a spring in your step over the festive period
The winner will be the rider with the fewest faults closest to the optimum time (speed to be announced on the day) Competitors should wear cross country dress. Helmets to current BSI standard to be worn. Back protectors are compulsory
N.B For safety reasons, there is a maximum of 10 competitors allowed in the Warm-up arena at any one time. Warm-up fences should be jumped in the direction indicated.

School Horse Hire: School horses can be hired for this event by WR Members for an additional fee of £20. Horses must be signed off by your instructor (maximum 1 clear round and 1 eventers challenge round) Entries without instructors signature will not be accepted.

CONAN’s SPOT PRIZE
Conan will even be sponsoring a prize of a much sought after, private coaching session either on your own horse or on a Wellington Riding school horse for the best Xmas themed turnout on the day!

1. The show organisers, Wellington Riding, reserve the right to cancel, add or to amend any of the competitions as they may see fit 2. Show organisers reserve the right to remove any vehicle or equipment which is obstructing any access to or on the show ground even if locked, secured, unattended and braked. They will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage etc. 3. All classes will be run under current British Eventing rules. 4. The decision of the judge is final in all instances. 5. Any competitor found schooling in the rings without permission will be disqualified from the show. 6. The show organisers reserve the right to exclude or remove from the show ground any person or property for any reason & without giving a reason. 7. Neither Wellington Riding, nor any of their representatives or staff shall in any way be liable for any accident, injury, damage or loss whatsoever, howsoever caused to anyone on the show ground at any time. 8. Wellington Riding reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason whatsoever & with no refund of entry fee or membership subscriptions. 9. Entry constitutes an agreement to be bound by & to abide by the Rules & Regulations of Wellington Riding.
