Arena Eventing is a two phase competition, run at BE80, BE90 and BE100 level where riders can qualify for one of the Sunshine Tour Arena Eventing Championships. Competitors will jump a course of show jumps immediately followed by cross country fences, based on an optimum time of 375m/min for the XC phase. The optimum time will be agreed with the course designer depending upon the size and terrain of the arena.

The Sunshine Tour is a fun and exciting National Championship Series for unaffiliated and amateur competitors of all ages and abilities. The Championships are held on the ‘hallowed turf’ of The All England Showground at Hickstead from Thursday 14th – Sunday 17th September 2017.
The Championship features: Dressage from Intro to Elementary, including Junior ‘Special’; Show Jumping from 30cm to 1.05m for minis, juniors & seniors; Showing for lead rein, first ridden, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more; Eventers Challenge starting at 60cm through to 1m.
