Times: Times will be given for all classes. Competitors must ring for their times on Wednesday before the competition between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on 07731902105. Alternatively times will be posted on www.snowballfarm.co.uk/shows AFTER 9.30PM. Any entries received after the closing date may not be on the web page so please ring for times as above.
Course: The Cross Country Course will be open for inspection from approx 2.30pm on the Friday before the event.

This competition is designed for the unaffiliated horse and rider. BE registered Horse and Rider combinations must ride HC.
The Show Secretary must be informed of any changes to original entry of Rider or Horse/Pony. Change of Horse and Rider is not permitted.
A stamped addressed envelope should be included so that your entry can be returned if necessary. This may be collected from the Show Secretary at the end of the Event.
Incomplete entries will not be counted.

Entry Fees: Class 1 & 4 & 7: £25.00, Class 2 & 5: £35.00, Class 3 & 6 & 8: £20.00.
If space available, late entries subject to £5.00 extra per Class.
Paramedics Fee: £5.00 per rider.

Bibs: Printed numbers will be issued. Please make sure you bring your own bib.
Bibs must be worn on top of clothing/body protectors with number showing.

Withdrawals/Refunds
Withdrawals: Those who withdraw in writing before the closing date will have their entry fee, less an admin fee of £4.00 per Class refunded. Entry fees in any other circumstances will not be refunded. All Competitors who withdraw for whatever reason, should inform the Show Secretary on 01628 666222 or by e-mail on office@snowballfarm.co.uk.

Terms & Conditions
The competition is guided by BE rules. Competitors should make themselves aware of the rules.

Horse/pony must be 5 years or older except for the 80cm classes where the horse/pony must be at least 4 years old. Ponies must be over 137cm in height.
Riders entering Class 1 cannot enter Classes 7 or 8.

Warm Up: No-one on foot in the warm-up area. No leading/lungeing in the small all-weather arena. Anyone asked to leave the warm-up areas by a Steward must do so immediately. Please respect the jump flags. Warm-up next to the XC start.

Correct riding attire must be worn. Correctly fitted hard hat, manufactured to one of the current safety standards, such as PAS015:1998; EN1384:1997 with BSI Kite mark, with no fixed brim, and with a three-point linkage properly adjusted and fastened, must be worn at all times when mounted at Snowball Farm. Hair must be kept no longer than collar length. No jewellery. Medical armbands and BETA approved body protectors must be worn by all those competing in Cross Country (including in the warm up).

Box and trailer parking is in the field opposite the Farm. Spectators are welcome but please park in the field opposite the Farm and not in the Farm car park. Please keep children under close supervision. All dogs must be kept on non-extendable leads at all times. Riders are respectfully asked to keep their horses away from the Riding School.

The ruling of the Judges, Fence Judges, Timekeepers and Stewards is final. A deposit of £15.00 must be lodged prior to an objection (in writing), which will be returned if the objection is upheld.

The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any Class for whatever reason they deem necessary, to disqualify any rider at any stage, to alter the schedule at any time. If the event is abandoned a £4.00 admin fee will be retained on all refunds.

Health & Safety Statement Snowball Farm, organisers of this event, have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all the officials and stewards.
