In attendance: Ambulance, Photographer (photos on day & on line), Caterer, Tack stand. Vet on call. (No farrier on call – ensure your horse is well shod).

Notes: There will be a Timed Section (Optimum Time not Speed) for all classes.

Ground Conditions: Excellent grass cover (always topped, not grazed). All weather take-offs and landings at all jumps. Ground always maintained to a high standard – rolled and raked.

Riders Comments: ‘An excellent venue for riders and horses or all levels. It has a great variety of fences that take advantage of both the flat and hilly terrain. The ground around and between the fences is looked after immaculately. I thoroughly recommend Hilltop for both amateurs and professionals’ Matt Ryan.

Terms & Conditions
Horseware National Hunter Trial Qualifying Classes - 2015
All classes except Class 2 are also qualifying classes for the 2015 Horseware National Hunter Trial Series.
1st, 2nd & 3rd placed competitors will qualify for the finals as long as they have jumped a clear round. If any rider does not wish to go to the Finals, the next rider to go clear will qualify.
Age of riders as at 1st Jan. 2014.
No Horse/Pony to compete more than once in any one class.
Stallions by prior agreement only.
Riders may not use their own bibs.
Body protectors & Medical Arm Bands are compulsory (Armbands can be purchased from the BHS bookshop 08701 201918, Pony Club HQ or British Eventing). Hunting Jackets or Cross Country Colours should be worn. Hard hats to the correct British standards must be worn, properly adjusted and fastened, at all times when mounted. Hat cameras are not allowed.
If a competitor receives first aid treatment whilst competing they will only be allowed to continue if the medics consider they are fit to do so.
Competitors must obey the instructions of the Organisers, Officials, Stewards and Fence Judges at all times. Failure to do so will result in elimination. Outside assistance to any horse or rider whilst on the course is forbidden and will result in elimination. Help may be given to a competitor following a fall to catch their horse and remount.
Any horse jumping HC must remain so for the rest of the competition. After 3 refusals at any one fence a rider may continue at the discretion of the fence judge, but must not in any way impede other competitors.
Dogs must be kept on short leads & under control at all times, and young children must be supervised.
Horses and Ponies must not be left unattended in the lorry park unless secured correctly INSIDE a trailer or horse box.
Any complaint must be made in writing to the secretary, with a £10 deposit, within 10 minutes of the results being published. The deposit will be retained if the objection is not upheld. The Judge’s decision is final. The organisers reserve the right to close or cancel a class, refuse an entry, withold a prize or disqualify a competitor for any reason they deem necessary.
In the event of cancellation, an admin. fee will be retained and the balance of the entry be refunded.
All reasonable precautions have been taken to ensure the health and safety of everyone present, but persons attending do so entirely at their own risk.
The landowners, organisers or their officials will not be held responsible for any theft, loss, accidents or damage or illness to persons, animals or property arising from any cause whatsoever connected with these Hunter Trials.
